Akim "Kim" Golubev is a scholar focusing on Early Modern English Literature and Literary Theory. He is the first Crimean-Tatar to earn a Ph.D. in the United States. His project reforms the posthuman theory to help resolve the ongoing social and global crises. Kim Golubev's research involves physics, history, psychology, politics, and English literature.
Kim's poems, articles, and short stories appeared in numerous journals, and his upcoming books, “Posthuman Vital Materialism” and “Un(e)Silencing,” delve into the integral issues concerning wars, affect theory, and posthuman theory.
Dr. Golubev has extensive teaching experience. His courses include Mythology and Literature, British Literature, World Literature, and Composition. He is a recipient of several academic awards, including the UNLV Outstanding Teaching Award.
